Kill the Scavenger
Kill the Scavenger is a named Side Op with a clean official completion and dog-tag pickup sequence at Imjin Farmland.
Objective and observed location
SIDE OP COMPLETE / KILL THE SCAVENGER appears inside an industrial building with metal stairs and large liquid containers. The HUD labels Imjin Farmland. This establishes the shown encounter, not a permanent spawn or a complete route.
Preparation and extraction — shared Lieutenant rules
The official Lieutenant guide says to complete the target’s prior-deployment challenges before buying its intel with DMZ Cash; purchased intel lasts one deployment. Alternatively, a Lieutenant Hunt tower’s Upload Station marks the nearest Lieutenant for the squad. These category rules do not identify this particular hunt’s exact prerequisite. Taking the Dog Tag Case broadcasts your position, so the official guide advises immediate exfil. Extracting the case progresses the Boss Board, including a case taken from another player. The iconic weapon has a rare drop chance, and a personal loot-room key is possible; the exact key and drop rates need their own evidence. See Lieutenant Hunts for the shared system.
Dog Tag and pickup
The next selected ground item is Legendary Scavenger's Dog Tag with a Backpack prompt. A later frame shows its named pickup notification. See Scavenger's Dog Tag and Scavenger.
Nearby loot and reward limits
Armor Plate pickup and an Uncommon Throwing Knife tooltip are visible nearby. They are not proof of a guaranteed Scavenger drop table. The retained sequence also has 650 XP alongside kill/completion notices; it is not established as a flat standalone Side Op reward.
