Boss Board
Use the FOB Boss Board to unlock and buy Lieutenant intel, track Dog Tag Case challenges and read Commander information.

- Available at
- FOB, outside deployment
- Boss Board station access
- Complete the second DMZ Order; this is an Order milestone, not DMZ Player Level 2.

Board and terminal
The FOB board has portraits above a terminal. Individual portrait names and purchase outcomes are not verified.
Unlock and access
Unlock the Boss Board after completing your second DMZ Order, then visit its physical FOB station. Lieutenant intel is purchased; Commander information is free and Commander intel cannot be bought. Both enemy types can award valuable loot and DMZ Cash.
Unlock and buy Lieutenant intel
Complete the required challenges in earlier deployments to unlock the ability to purchase a particular Lieutenant’s intel. Buy it with DMZ Cash; it is valid for one deployment. The graphic adds that purchased intel guarantees the target is active on that next deployment and warns that other squads may hunt the same target.
Find a Lieutenant without purchased intel
The article describes Lieutenant Hunt towers marked on the Tac Map. Climb one and interact with its Upload Station to mark the nearest Lieutenant for your squad. The graphic calls this a Lieutenant Hunt Side Op; it does not promise a chosen named target.
Drops and extracting the Dog Tag Case
The iconic weapon has a rare chance to drop; a Lieutenant can also drop the key to their personal locked location. A Lieutenant always drops a Dog Tag Case. Carrying it broadcasts your position to rival squads. Exfil with the case to progress the Boss Board, whether you killed the Lieutenant yourself or took the case from another player. Repeated challenges unlock additional rewards, some still classified.
Commanders
Commanders are always present in the Exclusion Zone. Nearby ones appear on the Tac Map and trigger a Team Leader warning. The first takedown of a particular Commander gives a DMZ Cash reward; killing one and extracting can yield valuable Ingredients. Listed examples are Colossus, a heavily armored seven-foot soldier with a depleted-uranium Minigun; Deathstalker, a helicopter-sized autonomous drone with dual machine-gun turrets; and a patrolling North Korean battle tank.
Details visible on the board
Bale’s selected panel requires the Underground, Counterfeit and Human Intel chapters to access intel. Challenge rows distinguish killing all Hajin Lieutenants once from extracting their Dog Tags twice and five times.
Confirmed kill reward versus extracted reward
The guide describes a substantial DMZ Cash bonus after a confirmed Lieutenant kill. That is separate from extracting the dropped Dog Tag Case to advance the Boss Board and earn its repeat-challenge rewards. The iconic weapon has a rare chance to drop; a general reference to a distinct weapon is not a guarantee on every kill.
