Lieutenant loot-room Keys
A Lieutenant can drop a key to that target’s personal loot room, providing a possible alternative route to the iconic weapon.
Characteristics
- Acquisition clue
- Check the defeated Lieutenant’s body
- Drop guarantee
- Not guaranteed
TBA: Individual key names, Room grids, Uses / durability.
Acquisition
When the Lieutenant does not drop the desired weapon, check the body for a room key. The weapon can usually be found in the named room; neither drop is guaranteed.
Where to look
If the defeated Lieutenant does not drop the weapon, the official Gunsmith guidance says to inspect the corpse for a key. The guide says the weapon can usually be found in the named room; neither the key nor the weapon is guaranteed on every attempt.
Key versus Dog Tag Case
The key opens a locked location. The Lieutenant Dog Tag Case is a separate reward used for Boss Board progression after extraction.
What Bale’s footage establishes
The reviewed official Dynamic Ops sequence names Bale’s Dog Tag and Dreadnought. It does not show a named key tooltip or a matching locked-door interaction. Bale’s individual key and room remain unresolved; this does not rule out key drops elsewhere.
Acquisition and destination
Lieutenant can drop Key to their personal loot room; chance and key names not supplied. Key item is separate from the Lieutenant Dog Tag Case.
