DMZ Settings

Practical DMZ settings for looting, controller calibration, armor application and visibility. Adjust them to your controls and hardware.

Looting and interaction

Prioritize Interact is WhosImmortal’s suggested starting point for looting and doors. Check your platform prompts and rebinding; it is a preference rather than a universal requirement.

Controller and armor

  • Use the built-in deadzone test to accommodate your controller’s stick drift.
  • Apply All can simplify plating and remains cancellable; it does not change armor capacity.

Visibility and diagnostics

  • Use FPS, latency, packet-loss and CPU/GPU-time telemetry to identify problems.
  • Adjust motion blur, depth of field, film grain, field of view and camera movement for visibility and comfort.
  • Choose an audio mix for your listening setup.

No universal numeric preset or measured FPS improvement is established. DLSS resolution scaling is currently restricted when VRRT Denoiser is enabled; the official notice is separate from these preference suggestions.
