Deployment looting and container search

Search Hajin for equipment, mission supplies and crafting materials. Plan the route around what you need and the danger of reaching it.

Settings and controls

Where to search

Search caches, lockers, crates and Supply Boxes. The guide recommends looting early after infil for XP and FOB progression, including gear and consumables such as Armor Plates and Bandages at known locations. Keys open special loot rooms. A door locked from inside can signal another access route; rural woodland can hide underground entrances.

Find materials for a purpose

The 3D Printer provides likely-location guidance for needed materials. These hints do not guarantee a particular container, room, quantity or drop chance. Completed Dynamic Operations also supply drops whose rarity improves with successive completions during the same deployment.

Balance the deployment

Objectives, Combat and Looting contribute separately to the After Action Report rating. The guide recommends balancing them when aiming for an S-tier result, rather than treating container count alone as the rating formula.

Loot controls

The retained developer AMA describes controller equip/drop/stow actions and mouse-and-keyboard drag-and-drop. With a full Backpack, choose an item to swap. The inventory leaves some of the scene visible; this does not mean the Operator is protected while looting.

Controller looting and full-backpack swap

The developer describes single-button equip, drop and stow actions alongside keyboard/mouse drag-and-drop. With a full backpack, the backpack button allows choosing an item to swap for floor loot. Item information does not overlap the inventory and looting does not fully cover the player's view.

Recipe and inventory priorities

Track a recipe you need and prioritize its materials. Leave room for mission items and valuable loot; a broad automatic-pickup description does not mean unlimited ammunition, plates or medical supplies.
