Lieutenant Hunts

Unlock target challenges and buy Boss Board intel to hunt a chosen Lieutenant. Extract their Dog Tag Case to advance repeat challenges.

Requirements and intel

Complete the target’s prerequisite challenges, then buy intel with DMZ Cash. It lasts for one deployment. The official graphic states that the purchased target will be active on that deployment; other squads can pursue the same Lieutenant.

Rewards and extraction

A rare iconic-weapon drop or a key to the personal loot room can follow the kill. The Lieutenant’s Dog Tag Case is separate: carrying it exposes your position, and successful extraction advances the Boss Board’s repeat challenges.

Alternative hunt method

The Lieutenant Hunt tower marks the nearest Lieutenant for the squad, which is different from selecting a named target at the Boss Board.

Confirmed kill reward versus extracted reward

The guide describes a substantial DMZ Cash bonus after a confirmed Lieutenant kill. That is separate from extracting the dropped Dog Tag Case to advance the Boss Board and earn its repeat-challenge rewards. The iconic weapon has a rare chance to drop; a general reference to a distinct weapon is not a guarantee on every kill.
