Weapon Manual unlocks at exfil

Extract a Weapon Manual to add a weapon-construction route at the FOB Gunsmith.

Weapon access

Extracting a Weapon Manual opens a documented permanent base-weapon purchase route. The later official arsenal guide also describes purchases through shared Multiplayer/DMZ progression. Check the selected Gunsmith requirement; the precise interaction is not established by this menu recording.

What the manual does not replace

Weapon levels still govern attachment access, and purchases still cost DMZ Cash. A Manual is not an attachment unlock or a free replacement weapon.

Extraction handling

Like Recipes, Weapon Manuals are consumed at successful exfil and pay out 5,000 DMZ Cash while applying the permanent unlock. This reward is separate from the cost of buying the weapon afterward.

Manuals and shared weapon progression

Extracting a Weapon Manual unlocks a permanent repeat-purchase route. The October 19 arsenal guide also describes DMZ Cash purchases based on shared Multiplayer/DMZ progression. A universal Manual-only rule, or automatic purchase access from every Multiplayer unlock, has not been independently demonstrated. Merely picking up a gun does not establish permanent purchase access.
