Here’s everything you need to know about this Blackmarket weapon cabinet: how to unlock and access it, what the recorded example contains, and which key opens the cabinet.

Where Is the Locker Located?

The Black Market Weapons Locker is found in a back room of one specific shop within Hanrim Village. This location has been confirmed by gameplay footage from Mr ZEUS OK's video.

How to get there:

  1. Find the shop back room in Hanrim Village.
  2. Mr ZEUS OK describes going downstairs into a basement, then entering the back room with two weapons lockers. Use the linked demonstration to recognise the room.

How to Unlock It

To open the locker and claim your reward:

  1. Equip the Black Market Weapons Locker Key from your FOB Stash/Loadout menu before deployment.
  2. Approach one of the cabinets in Hanrim Village’s back room.
  3. Use the cabinet’s interaction prompt.

Key Points:

  • The cabinet will display a prompt saying “BLACKMARKET WEAPONS LOCKER – UNLOCK” to confirm its identity.
  • Only this specific key can open the locker; other Gun Store keys won’t work here, even if they’re similar in appearance (see comparison below).

What’s Inside?

Mr ZEUS OK reports receiving a sniper rifle in this example. This does not guarantee the same weapon or rarity in another locker.

How Do You Get This Key?

The Black Market Weapons Locker key can be acquired in the following ways:

  1. As part of your DMZ progression rewards, unlocked when reaching level 46 (Recon Equipment Kit).

Open the earned kit at the FOB’s Survival Kits station to unpack it into Stash. Then equip the key for your deployment. Level 46 is this kit’s reward level, not a confirmed minimum use level for a key found elsewhere.

The Recon Equipment Kit contains:

  • A Seeker Drone.
  • A Recon Drone.
  • Heartbeat Sensors.
  • Snapshot Grenades.
  • A Black Market Weapons Locker Key.

Remember: Extracting the rifle keeps that individual weapon. Extract its Weapon Manual to unlock repeated purchases from the Gunsmith.

What’s Different From Other Keys?

The Gun Store Weapons Locker Key is a different key. Its item card names western Cheongun Village and northern Songdo Wharf.

Comparison:

  • Blackmarket Weapons Locker Key: The Level 46 Recon Equipment Kit supplies this key for the matching cabinet.
  • Gun Store Keys (DMZ16/42): Supplied in the Explosives and Trap Equipment Kits. The Level 19 Recon Equipment Kit gives a Police Station Key.

Final Tips

Here’s what you need to know before embarking on your mission:

  1. Make sure the cabinet prompt reads “BLACKMARKET WEAPONS LOCKER – UNLOCK”; check the full prompt.
  2. Leave room in your carried inventory for loot; weapons extracted from Hajin can be kept at the FOB.
