How to Loot Counterfeit Cash from Pinged NK Soldiers in MW4 DMZ

If you're struggling with Execute Intel on the Counterfeit 1/2 Orders chapter of Modern Warfare 4’s DMZ mode, this guide will walk you through completing it. The objective requires hacking a UAV Tower, killing five North Korean soldiers pinged by that tower, and collecting counterfeit cash from their bodies.

Which Order needs Counterfeit Cash?

The Execute Intel check is part of the Counterfeit 1/2 Orders chapter.

At the FOB (Forward Operating Base), Orders are tracked separately from Story Missions or Dynamic Operations.

How does it work?

The objective has three distinct checks:

1. Hack a UAV Tower in Deadtown.
2. Kill five NK soldiers pinged by a UAV Tower.
3. Loot Counterfeit Cash dropped by those soldiers (Mission Item).

Hack the Deadtown UAV Tower

To start, head to the UAV Tower service on a rooftop in Deadtown:

1. Approach and interact with its terminal.
2. Use the tower’s scan to identify NK soldiers.
3. Kill five pinged North Korean soldiers; check the Order’s separate kill counter.

Where to find Counterfeit Cash

While working through Execute Intel:

1. Look at the loot dropped by killed enemies for a Counterfeit Cash card.
2. Pick up this named item (not ordinary money) from their bodies.

In TroubleChute Basics’ recorded run, you can see that even after only 3 kills in Deadtown, Counterfeit Cash is already visible as an available pickup in the field. The cash pickup is separate from the five-kill counter, so check both.

What if Execute Intel isn't finished?

If your item counter remains unfinished:

1. Confirm you hacked the Deadtown UAV Tower and are killing its scanned NK soldiers.
2. Inspect loot drops from killed North Korean soldiers for Counterfeit Cash.
3. Check which of Execute Intel’s three objectives is still unchecked.

Note: The Robbery Order in this chapter also requires extracting 5000 total Backpack and Loadout value. This separate requirement does not affect Execute Intel's completion status.
