Unlock recipes

Unlock recipes through DMZ progression, Orders, or by finding and extracting them. Extracted recipes become permanent Printer unlocks and award 5,000 DMZ Cash.

Resources and Ingredients

Looted Resources break down into Synthetics, Electronics, Chemicals and Metals. Ingredients are carried and extracted intact, then stored for crafting.

Print items

Select a recipe and compare owned materials with its requirements; green counts mean you have enough. Choose a quantity using the Max Printable display, then print to your Operator or Stash.

Track recipes and ingredients

Pin recipes or Ingredients to find them in Tracked. Tracked Ingredients also show a pin when looted. Check Ingredient Locations for recommended search areas.

Upgrade your FOB

Use Upgrades for permanent improvements to Bank and Stash capacity, MIA recovery costs and Ingredient printing. Each upgrade has its own requirements and can take multiple prints to complete.

Crafting categories

Print Consumables, Plate Carriers, Backpacks, Tacticals, Lethals, Field Upgrades, Fire Support, Gear and Ingredients. Permanent FOB improvements are in Upgrades.

Printing category unlocks

Starting level

The progression table lists the Printer at DMZ Player Level 2; its illustration shows Level 1. The table describes station access even though that row is labelled Recipe.

Printing and storage

Choose Print to Operator for the active Loadout, or Print to Stash to save an item for later. The Stash counter shows occupied storage and its capacity; it is separate from the Bank balance and Backpack inventory. Check available space before printing a batch.

Recorded progression unlocks

A Recipe entry unlocks printing; it is separate from receiving a ready-made item. Main Player/Multiplayer ranks do not establish a DMZ recipe, purchase price or loot restriction.

Uncommon Ingredient Printing

Unlocks access to higher-rarity crafting materials.

Epic Ingredient Printing

Unlocks access to higher-rarity crafting materials.

These are the selected upgrade stage II requirements for each print, separate from any full upgrade completion counter.

Track Recipe pins the selected recipe for reference. Ingredient Locations provides search guidance for its required materials. Each item page lists its own selected recipe and unlock condition.

Official launch updates

2026-10-23 — The publisher reports a fix for FOB Upgrade Challenge tracking. It does not reset or replace the selected material costs and does not prove every future upgrade challenge has been tested.

2026-10-20 — The publisher reports fixing a FOB kick when selecting Untrack Recipe with no recipe tracked. It does not change recipe ingredients, access conditions or successful output rules.
